## What is the Dynam BMS?

Dynam BMS is a satellite battery management system for EV conversions. Satellites mount on the battery modules, daisy-chain together, and report to VCU+, which acts as pack master. The pack is tuned in Bolt.

## How many cells can the Dynam BMS handle?

Up to 12 satellites and 192 cells per pack. Each satellite monitors up to 24 series cells, as two 12-cell units on one board.

## Does the Dynam BMS need a separate controller?

No. VCU+ is the pack master. It aggregates every satellite reading and owns pack-level fault logic, contactor sequencing, and derate. The satellites measure, balance, and report.
